Last Minute Home Showing Checklist

When you're getting a call for a last-minute showing of your home, hopefully, you'll have a few minutes to do a mad dash around the house. Here's a checklist of some of the most important areas to attend to.
Kitchen
- Put dishes, cups in dishwasher.
- Remove clutter from kitchen counters.
- Wipe down the kitchen counters.
- Empty the kitchen trash.
- Clear the dining room/kitchen table.
Bathrooms
- Close the toilet lid.
- Remove dirty towels.
- Wipe down sinks and faucets.
- Clear counters of non-decor.
Bedrooms
- Make the beds.
- Pick up clutter.
- Open the curtains.
Outdoors
- Pick up pet droppings.
- Pick up toys.
- Hide garbage cans.
Miscellaneous
- Hide anything with your identity.
- Lock up cash, medications, weapons.
- Turn off your computer.
- Turn on all lights.
- Disarm alarm system.
